Jennifer L. Gray leads a strategic criminal defense practice representing individuals in complex, high stakes matters. Admitted to practice in Ohio and New York, she appears in local, state, and federal court. She brings her years of courtroom and litigation experience to every case she handles.
Jennifer began her legal career in 2010, serving for more than a decade as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York City. In that role, she prosecuted serious felony offenses and developed a deep understanding of investigative strategy, charging decisions, evidentiary challenges, and trial advocacy. This experience provides her with a distinct advantage in defense practice today. She understands how cases are built and how they can be dismantled.
Jennifer joined the Ohio Bar in 2017 and ultimately relocated to Cleveland in 2022 to serve as the term clerk in the inaugural chambers of Federal Magistrate Judge James E. Grimes, Jr. There, she worked closely on complex federal criminal and civil matters, gaining insight into federal appellate procedure, motion practice, and judicial analysis. She later served as Counsel to Flannery | Georgalis, LLC, a firm recognized for its work in white collar defense, internal investigations, and other sensitive criminal matters.
Jennifer approaches every case with disciplined preparation and a trial-ready mindset, carefully analyzing discovery, identifying procedural vulnerabilities, and crafting tailored defense strategies grounded in the facts.
